I am writing to express my satisfaction with the Platinum Security System I am using.
The remote is so easy to use I am encouraged to turn the system on whenever I leave the house. This gives me the reassurance that when I return no unwelcome person has been in my house, or is still in my house.
Since I have been living in my house for over 40 years, the ‘new house’ creaks are gone. However the ‘old house’ creaks can be unnerving. When I have the Platinum Security System on, I feel reassured.
I never fully appreciated how much peace of mind I get, knowing that my house is protected from intruder, fire and medical emergencies.
Unfortunately, there are often things to complain about, it is indeed a pleasure to commend you for a product that fulfills its claims.

On November 4, 2007, my home was broken into. The burglars entered through the back bedroom window. I didn’t have alarms on the windows but I do have a motion detector. When the burglars walked out of the bedroom, they triggered the motion detector causing a silent alarm. Thanks to Platinum Protection, the police were called and responded to my home. The intruders were caught trying to come back out of the window. If it had not been for your company, the loss to my home may have been great! Thank you Platinum Protection for your superb reaction. I would recommend your services to any and all looking for quality home protection.

My mother, Angelina, is in a re-hab center for now. When she’s home she wears her medical alert necklace 24 hours. She’s had to use it on a few occasions. It’s been a blessing for her and her family.
There were a couple of times she was alone and fell and couldn’t get up on her own. She pressed in her alert button 2 times and someone was speaking on her alert speaker-asking if she was ok and asked her if she needed help. She yelled back and said she wasn’t hurt, but that she couldn’t get up off the floor. Within minutes an ambulance was at the house helping her off the floor. The Paramedics checked her out and asked if she wanted to go to the ER at the hospital. She assured them she was ok except for a bruise or two.
Two other times she used her alert button- once she fell and hit her head on the floor and was bleeding. The ambulance came within minutes and rushed her to the ER after they stopped the bleeding. I was home with her that time and I was really worried she hurt herself pretty bad. It turned out to be a nasty cut and had a black eye for a while. But she wasn’t seriously hurt a few stitches did the trick.
The other time (I was also home) she started feeling really weak and had a little trouble breathing. I used the alert button and was told someone would be over shortly. They were right; within minutes the ambulance was there. They checked out her vitals and suggested they bring her to the hospital. After a few days she was better and sent home.
That’s why I said it’s been a blessing.

My husband and I recently purchased a new home in Laurel, Maryland. On move-in day, one of your representatives was in the area offering a special on installation services for the Platinum Alarm System.
Fortunately, my husband decided to sign up for the service as his decision turned out to literally save our lives. Within the first week of moving in, someone attempted to break into our home during the daytime. The alarm went off as the intruder tried to gain entry into our home and the monitoring associate phoned me at work. When they couldn’t reach me, they called my back-up contact immediately as noted on our report file.
Once I made contact with the monitoring associate, I was informed that the police had been dispatched to inspect our home. Policemen arrived at our home, inspected the area, and also spoke with our next-door neighbor to determine if any suspects had been seen.
When we arrived home, we noticed the markings on one of our doors evidencing the attempted break-in. The only thing that provided us with comfort and security was knowing that we had the Platinum Alarm System installed and we were safe as a result of it.
The system saved our lives because had we not had it, all of our personal belongings would have been stolen and our new home would’ve been ruined and damaged. We are grateful to your monitoring team as they did a phenomenal job in saving the day.

It was a cold dreary night with no one around to disturb the burglar as he kicked in the rear door to the offices of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission (AMC), 2103 Gabriel Ave., Zion, IL.
As he kicked the door, a light went on outside the door but it failed to deter the burglar. This was his second visit to the residential neighborhood. His first burglary netted $40–50 in cash after he used the same method to enter the AMC offices. During the second trip to the rear door, the burglar was interrupted by a loud piercing audible alarm that sounded as the door crashed off its hinges. The burglar had not planned to have his caper interrupted by a loud burglar alarm. As he scrambled off the porch running through the snow, the Monitronics staff, detecting an alarm at the address, had already contacted the Zion Police Department.
The response time was incredible as the police pursued the burglar by following his footprints through the fresh snow. The burglar wasn't caught that night but nothing was taken from the AMC office. "After the first burglary," said Hasan Hakeem, AMC president, "I had thought about installing an alarm when I was approached by a young man asking if we would be interested in installing an alarm system. It was almost as if the Hand of God had directed him to our doorstep."
"The young salesman was very knowledgeable about the system, as he walked me through the basics of the Monitronics monitoring system and its user-friendly hardware," said Hakeem. "After the burglary, it didn't take a lot to convince me that we needed the alarm system."
In addition to its administrative offices, the AMC also installed an alarm system at a second address used for worship services. "We have a saying in our faith," said Hakeem, "Say your prayers and ask God for protection, but tie your camel. I sleep better at night knowing my Monitronics system is guarding our property."

One of our customers, Betty, called in to tell us her positive experience with Platinum Protection and their immediate response to an unexpected fire. Betty had been cooking oatmeal on the stove one morning and before leaving the house she accidentally turned the stove dial from “simmer” to “high” instead of from “simmer” to “off.” Not much later the monitored smoke detector went off, signaling a call to the police. Due to the system’s quick response, Betty was able to come away from that incident without any damage to her property but a burnt pan. In Betty’s words: “I really did feel like it had paid for itself.”
